Rescue Changes a Life. Outreach Changes What Happens Next.

We rescue the animals already in danger. Outreach is how we work toward a future where fewer animals are abandoned, abused, feared, or left without help in the first place.

Animal Welfare Has to Become Part of the Community.

Our shelter in Azerbaijan treats the consequences of cruelty, neglect, abandonment, and an enormous stray-animal population every day. But rescue cannot be the only answer.

We also work in the community to make animal welfare visible: meeting people at public events, sharing before-and-after rescue stories, supporting education and youth engagement, advocating for humane treatment, and promoting prevention through spay and neuter work.

Changing the Conditions That Make Rescue Necessary.

This Is Shanty.

At a community event in Azerbaijan, Shanty did something simple and important: she stood beside the work. People could meet a rescued GWARP dog, see our before-and-after display, and connect the idea of animal welfare to a real animal standing in front of them.

A photograph can show recovery. Meeting a survivor can change the way someone thinks about stray animals altogether.

People Are Already Finding Ways to Take Part.

Schools, young volunteers, community groups, and local supporters have organized fundraisers, collected food, visited the shelter, and helped bring attention to homeless animals in Azerbaijan.

Every interaction builds a different expectation: that stray animals are not disposable, that cruelty should not be normal, and that ordinary people can do something about it.

We are not only trying to save animals from the world as it is. We are trying to help change the world they have to live in.

Humane population control is one of the most direct ways to reduce future suffering. Every animal prevented from being born into an already overwhelmed street population means fewer puppies and kittens facing hunger, disease, injury, and abuse.

That work belongs beside rescue, rehabilitation, sanctuary, adoption, and education. It is part of the same mission: improving the lives of animals throughout Azerbaijan.

Schools, community groups, companies, event organizers, and local supporters can help create more opportunities for education, fundraising, awareness, and direct engagement.
