At seven years old, Bali has already endured more hardship than any dog should ever know. But despite everything she's been through, this sweet little Poodle has never lost her incredible capacity to love.

Bali was one of 35 dogs rescued from a horrific shelter, where the animals were found starving, severely neglected, emaciated, and covered in ticks. Conditions were so appalling that the dogs didn't even have clean drinking water. They were forced to drink wastewater just to survive. When rescuers found Bali, she was already pregnant, struggling to survive in a place where even the most basic necessities were denied to her.

Thankfully, Bali's story didn't end there. She was brought into the care of GWARP (Good World Animal Rescue and Protection), an organization dedicated to rescuing abandoned, abused, and neglected animals and giving them a second chance at life. Through rescue, rehabilitation, and international adoption, GWARP works tirelessly to give animals who have known nothing but suffering the opportunity to experience safety, kindness, and the love of a forever family.

And Bali is a beautiful example of why that mission matters.
Despite everything she has endured, Bali has remained an absolute sweetheart. This gentle little lady has a beautiful curly white coat, a calm disposition, and a heart full of love. She's happiest when she's close to her people, soaking up affection and enjoying the simple comforts of being loved.

Bali isn't looking for grand adventures or a busy lifestyle. At seven years young, she's perfectly content with a quieter pace, leisurely activities, and plenty of cuddles. She's the kind of dog who will make an ordinary evening on the couch feel like the best part of your day.

Her easygoing nature makes her a wonderful companion for many types of families. Bali gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats, is gentle with children of all ages, and has a calm, moderate energy level. She's also house-trained, making her an especially lovely choice for someone looking for a sweet, settled companion.
What makes Bali truly remarkable isn't just her gentle personality, but the trust and affection she still offers people despite everything she has experienced. After a life filled with so much uncertainty, she asks for so little in return: a warm place to sleep, a loving touch, and someone who will never let her down again.

Bali has spent enough of her life simply trying to survive. Now it's her turn to experience the joy of truly living.

She has survived the worst of what people can do. Now she deserves to experience the very best of what people can give.

Somewhere out there is a family who will look at Bali and see not a dog with a difficult past, but a beautiful little soul with so much love left to give.

Bali's adoption fee is $2,000 USD. This reflects the considerable expense of rescuing, providing veterinary care for, preparing, and transporting a dog from Azerbaijan to Canada. International rescue is an enormous undertaking, and adoption fees help GWARP continue giving vulnerable animals the chance at a life they might otherwise never have.
