They Survived the Unimaginable.

Now they need someone to fight for them.

Two GWARP rescue dogs, one with visible scars, safe outside a home

A Safe Place for the Animals No One Else Would Save.

For many of the animals who reach us, GWARP is their last chance.

They arrive injured, abandoned, abused, disabled, or simply unwanted. Some need months of treatment before they are ready for a home. Others need sanctuary for the rest of their lives.

We refuse to give up on them.

See What We Fight For

People Threw Rocks at Her. GWARP Refused to Look Away.

People called Goldie a plague and threw rocks to make her disappear. By the time help reached her, large, bleeding papillomas covered her from head to toe.

After more than six months in hospital and repeated surgeries, Goldie is safe inside a Canadian home. She listens to music, sings along, and is finally being known for who she is — not only what happened to her.

We Don't Turn Away the Hard Cases.

From the first moment of rescue to the day an animal finds safety, GWARP stays for the entire journey.

Animals who once had no future travel thousands of miles to reach the families who have been waiting for them.
